Nibru - Unfinished

This character is from divinenibru over at conceptart.org. He asked for everyone’s visual interpretation of his character ([link]).

This was mine. Clearly I never even got close to finishing it and probably never will but, this is the first real character I have ever done as I’m typically terrible at drawing people. I have way too many hours into this piece as I endlessly redid parts trying to get the right look.

The face I spent the most time on and is pretty much the only thing finished. The body is about half way there and the spear and wings are more blocked in place holders than anything else that I never made it to. The character is suppose to have long hair which I never added which is why the head is just black. Perhaps one day I will finish this piece but, for now it sits in my unfinished pile.
